District 16 — most of Texas and all of Mexico — is one of 25 geographically defined districts of the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL), a membership organization whose mission is to promote, grow, and sustain the game of bridge. 

The 25 districts are combined into 13 regions for governance purposes and representation on the ACBL Board of Directors.

District 16 is included in Region 9, which also includes District 15 (Oklahoma, Kansas, southwest Missouri, the Texas Panhandle,and western Arkansas).
